Milled paperback:
It is the most popular method for producing volumes, catalogues that contain a considerable number of pages. The pages, divided into signatures, are first cut by means of a milling cutter and then glued to the rib of the cover. This process allows the glue to penetrate the paper better, giving the book greater strength. Especially suitable for natural papers that have greater porosity, it is a fast, inexpensive and yet strong binding method.
This is a quick and inexpensive type of binding suitable for magazines, pamphlets, brochures of a few pages that do not develop a spine. It is done by grouping all the sheets - minimum 8 sides - by stacking them one on top of the other and then stapling them in the centre with two staples. It should be remembered that the number of pages must be a multiple of 4. The digital printing technique also allows short runs at a lower cost than offset printing. Suitable for printing that does not require high definition.
